Singapore: Island resort Sentosa will soon be home to the world’s tallest duel roller—coaster ride and movie stars such as Marilyn Monroe, Shrek and the motley mob of Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria last spotted in Madagascar,the movie.

The Universal Studios theme—park which will be housed on the 49 hectares Resorts World at Sentosa, revealed Tuesday its two dozen attractions, including 18 rides and attractions specially created or adapted for Singapore.

“Universal Studios Singapore will be its own unique experience and family destination with many new rides, shows and themes that can’t be found at other Universal Studios parks around the world,” said Tom Williams, chairman and CEO, Universal Parks & Resorts.

Speaking at Tuesday’s unveiling of some of the theme—park’s attractions, Williams said attention was paid to location—specific creatives and designs so as to offer both first—time and devoted Universal Studios visitors, an exciting, different and memorable experience.

The theme—park will feature seven zones, each with its own iconic food outlets and entertainment attractions.

Tied—in to movie favourites, are the Madagascar and Far Far Away zones, featuring attractions for both young and old.

Visitors can explore Shrek’s swamp home, a castle and party at a Knight Club, or ’move it, move it’ with wacky King Julien at a beach party after outwitting the Foosa in an original, one—of—a—kind immersive river ride that should be as wild as the lemur tribe of Madagascar.

Sci—fi buffs will have a city of their own and be able to join in the Human vs Cylons battle on the Battlestar Galactica dueling coasters, the tallest of its kind in the world. Another battle in this zone is the highly—anticipated Transformers ride which debuts at Universal Studios Singapore before heading out to the US theme—park.

As for adventure—seekers, they can trip to the 1930’s Golden Age of Egyptian Exploration to discover the Sphinx, Pharaoh’s tombs and mummies in the Revenge of the Mummy attraction, or take on the Lost World zone inhabited by dinosaurs at the redesigned Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure and Waterworld, with death defying stunts.

At the Hollywood zone, visitors can expect Broadway—style theatre modelled after the famous Hollywood Pantages Theatre and walk down Hollywood Boulevard complete with the famous Walk of Fame.

Without hopping on a jet, visitors will be transported to New York for a slice of the Big Apple, from NY—style pizza to movie—set scenes, including a special effects stage with Steven Spielberg who offers behind—the—scenes peeks and Stage 28 for star wannabes who get a chance to be part of a movie production.

“Asians love movies and we are proud to introduce the region’s first and only Universal Studios theme park" said Tan Hee Teck, CEO of Resorts World Sentosa.

According to Tan, the project is in the final stages of construction, and Universal Studios Singapore will be one of the biggest and most exciting theme—parks in the world.

haha school today was slightly crazy
so my only break today's after pccg
normally this only break of the day is taken up by compulsory gp consult
but mr sum cancelled it!
so we went for break
and soon, felicia and alexis came to join us
dont know who started all the madness
we started laughing at the song larger than life!
haha yes, by backstreet boys
cos there's a few weird parts in the song,
first they start off with "HEH" then they started singing some weird stuff
in the middle of the song there'll be the "AHH HEEE" or smth
alexis was imitating it really well
laughed all the way up to the 6th floor.
i was the first one to step out of the lift,
this stupid leave flew past i screamed and my legs were jelly

then came the second last lesson of the day
dont now why the 4 of us decided to go for lunch together aft school :)

everything was so thick and i removed the stapler bullet before checking
and i had to attach it together again
stupid lousy stapler i have at home cant staple them together
so i got really frustrated
left my left hand there and slammed the stapler using my other hand

now my left index finger hurts

acjc open house cum the day when i ended s papers
last paper was bio :/ and it ended around 3+ i think
so i went down to the hall to look look see see
first, i spotted 2 little boys when we were walking towards the hall
(around the age of 4?5?6? i dont know what they were doing there)
then after entering the hall for about 10 mins,
i left the hall walking around with cynthia!
saw the 2 little boys again!
came up with the fantastic idea of stalking them :)
stalked them for about 10mins? then they went in their van :(
nothing interesting happened in between
till i was just sitting at the canoeing booth,
playing tower bloxx on kat's phone
dirty kat came to join me after awhile and we went crazy
like self entertaining? :D hee hee
dont know what we were laughing about then we started laughing at gossip girl

the initial plan was to have lunch together with the team
but training was at 230?
so when celebrations ended,
the canoeist went down to macr
so somehow somehow, training ended very late
lunch wasnt lunch anymore and everyone was dead. :/
i went homeeeeeeee
was supposed to pack my luggage? ok i wouldnt call it luggage. bag.
but i was so lazy!
it took me 30mins to take out the clothes and throw them on the sofa
cos i opened my cupboard and refused to move
and every 5 mins i'll walk to either the comp or the tv
went to bathe, came out and chatted online.
after awhile i went to sleep HAHA
mummy helped me put in all the clothes i took out into a bag alr,
and woke me up at around 1AM to check if i need anything else

let's start! :)

SATURDAY
was really a very happy day.
started off with first training in the morning,
second shift so, we met at 815!
(but i reached at 830 with ELLA! both late, as usual :/)
after training was shed cleaning
the back shed's really EWWWWWWWWW
and stella and i did a VERY GOOD JOB washing lifejacs and talking about NYA-NYA!
came back from washing (a very tedious job you know) and continued laughing about NYA-NYA with bernice chia!
then this is where fun begins!
laughed throughout lunch with the girls at junction 8
(girls = bernice, stella, jiaxu, kat, jiaen, huiyu)
the plan was to 1. buy bubbletea from basement 1 then 2. go subway for a good lunch
(green apple green tea's not nice. jiaxu's mango milk shake's good)
we did no.1 but no.2 didn't happen
so anw when we were at basement 1 the whole group of us came across this shop that allowed us to sample food
being the training-just-ended-and-we-just-did-shed-cleaning=super-hungry-us,
we took a toothpick each and started 'sampling' the food
(it isnt sampling anymore, i think we were practically eating free food)
then then then this jiaen O.M.G
haha before she left she turned back to take another serving HAHAHAHA
the lady got SUPER PISSED and she was like "ni men zhe me ke yi zhe yang"
(which means how and you all do this)
WAHH EMBARRASSING TO THE MAX HAHAHA
we were wearing dragontank by the way.

ok so after the whole drama, we went up to the foodcourt cos our craving for subway's gone.

haha so everyone knows jiaxu....isn't very fair right? (HAHA!)
jiaxu: ehhh everyone's so red! (sunburnt!)
jiaxu (continued): look! look! look at stella, wanmei....SO RED!
jiaxu (again): ehhh am i red too?
immediately bernice and i choked! HAHAHAHAHAHA

three thirty we headed back to mcrtichie
taught the girls how to jaywalk (jay chou walk. okkk not funny)
we were really jaywalking cos i refused to climb the overhead bridge
then went up to the uppershed to sleep!
4 o'clock! paddle, lifejacs, boat, hit water! k4!
k4 was fine :) and we did shaun's k4 balloon drill!!!!
im too lazy to explain the drill so just take it as balloon drill that uses REAL BALLOON
so 1/2way through training jiaxu had to leave early
of course k4 without a person = empty seat in the boat
when shaun asked us to pack up,
we asked him if we could paddle around and he said YES!
so i sat in front, second seat was empty, kat on the third and ella on the 4th
by the time we were going out,
there's only ONE BALLOON LEFT! sole survivor
so i decided to call it jiaxu and put it in the 2nd seat
went 500m and back and it was time to pack up
had to carry k4 into scf shed so of course,
i needed to take jiaxu out.
huiyu was the only person there so i passed jiaxu to her
think jiaxu didnt want huiyu to touch her,
so she BURST ~~INTO FLAMES~~ haha okk no flames lol
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA so funnyyy!
dont know why it ended up with bernice and i on the pontoon
we saw jiaxu's head and butt;
the remains of the top and bottom of the balloon.
bernice: jiaxu's dead
me: let me revive her! (so i did the normal blowing in the balloon action)
but apparently that's jiaxu's butt
so bernice was laughing like mad
OMG SICK CORRUPTED GIRL!
so while walking to the shed,
we spotted JIAXU'S BODY the middle portion of the balloon
bernice: ehhh should this be jiaxu's body or clothes
me: jiaxu doesn wear clothes!
OMG it was so super funny we laughed all the way WONKY WONKY

it was XO bee hoon at first then we went to airport instead

DOM's so funny hahaha bernice and dom were singing

i dont know whether is it funny or i was super wonky :)
but bernice and i were just laughing and laughing
aiman's super weird too
he drew "i'm" and "aiman" on his left and right shoe respectively
i mean who in the right mind does that?!
